Casino Rueda (or Rueda de Casino) is Cuban Salsa danced in a circle with interchanging partners.
It is very popular in Cuba & Europe and is starting to grow in popularity in the Boston area.
Developed in Havana, Cuba in the late 1950s & early 1960s, Casino Rueda consists of pairs of dancers forming a circle, and swapping partners around the circle through dance moves called out by one person, a caller.
