Tipica Salsa Weekend 2009!

Two words sum up the weekend:  NONSTOP CRAZINESS!  Produced by Manoah and Femke of Salsa Tipica Dance School, and in its second year, the Tipica Salsa Weekend has managed to become a rare event that some promoters can only dream of: a fun-filled and unforgettalbe weekend with great performances, workshops, and DANCING.  The full 3 couple Masacote Dance Company was booked, so Joel and I were joined by Samantha Fernandez, Charlotte Belok, Aaron Damus, and Marc Parris.

Hawaii Salsa Congress 2009

When Angel Arcangel, promoter of the Hawaii Salsa Festival, invited us to the Hawaii Salsa Festival, we jumped at the opportunity.  Hawaii is one of those rare states of the US that people rarely get to visit and not one we were about to pass up!  We remember when we tried to compete for a prize for the congress back in 2002 and JUST missed it!  Now we were being invited back as instructors.  Life really does surprise you at times.  :)
