"Fantagious" is envisioned and produced by Ana and Joel Masacote of Masacote Entertainment. This husband and wife team is one of the most sought after in salsa/mambo. Respected for their artistry and musicality, they have taken the interpretation of Salsa Dance to new heights and are shaping the future of Salsa as we know it.

Liz is currently completing her BFA in Film/Video at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
Liz worked on the Layout for Fantagious and helped Ana and Joel bring the idea to paper.

Sekou McMiller
Sekou made his Off-Broadway debut with Celia, the Musical. From New York, NY and Chicago, IL, Credentials include:
Dance: Artistic Director of Descarga Caribe Dance Company, an Afro-Latin Jazz dance Ensemble.
Teaching Master Classes: Afro-Latin dances in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Music: classically trained flutis, performed with the Classical Symphony Orchestra of Chicago.

Ana and Joel Masacote
Ana began her formal dance training in folklórico at the age of 5 and Salsa at the age of 15. Joel began his formal training in salsa dance in 1995 and then began to merge his skills in music and dance.
This powerhouse duo teamed up together in 2003 to merge their individual talents. They currently direct the International renowned Masacote Dance Company and have since traveled to 14+ countries.

Joel "Masacote" Massicot
Joel "Masacote" Massicot is a producer, arranger, and composer extraordinaire. As a versatile musician, Joel has trained to play in different musical genres (jazz, reggae, funk, salsa, and Latin jazz). A former Jazz student of Howard University’s School of Fine Arts Music Department in DC, Joel is now based in Boston, MA.
Costume Designer
Ana Masacote

Ana Masacote trained in costume design through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Theater Production Department. In 2004, Ana studied under personal guidance with Costume Designer Leslie Held. Since then, she has become the official costume designer for the Masacote Dance Company and works closely with Joel Masacote to bring their unique costume ideas to life.
